My Son’s New Job!

My son just secured his fantasy job.  He will be First Mate on a privately owned sportfishing yacht.

It’s a 78 foot boat.  He will live on it for the next 8 months.  The owner likes to fish so Damon will fish with him and do the work of a First Mate.  It’s an incredible chance for Damon.

Damon will be able to use this smaller boat whenever he wants to.

I just hope and pray everything works out for him.

Awesome! Way to go Damon! I hope everything goes well.

What I find sad is that the “Smaller Boat” makes my 17 1/2 foot fishing boat look like a bath toy! Just plain sad! 😥

Yippee for Damon. What a good opportunity for him to have. Getting paid to fish and have access to the “little boat!” Sounds like a no brainer for me. I’m so happy for him. This is so perfect for him.

WOW, What beautiful boats. Well, I too hope all goes well and he will always be safe. I think it is good to do Adventure things in Life because then you have things to reflect back on. Sounds like this will be one of those Adventures!

What a great opportunity! All the fun of living on a boat without the headaches of owning it (ask me how I know!). If the owner has a computer and internet access (and I’m sure he does!) Damon should start a blog of his own. Could be interesting.
