The truth is I have missed my last two weight watcher meetings. My weight gain today proves that I shouldn’t miss meetings. In the past two months I have only been to 6 meetings. I have gained 5.6 pounds over the last few weeks. Well, all I can say is that it is a lesson well learned. Proves the weight watcher point that if you attend meetings you lose more weight.
My weight watcher leader told me to just consider it a vacation. Well, the vacation is over and I am back on track. I don’t want all my past efforts to go down the drain.
My weight watcher leader, Lorraine, has started a blog. It is called “Losing with Lorraine”. Go here to visit her.
I hope you all take a trip over to her blog and tell her I sent you. She will be posting recipes and just being her usual self, funny and very motivational. I know I couldn’t have lost the weight I have lost without her.
I am going to Providence, R.I. today to see The Waterfire.
“WaterFire Providence®, the award-winning sculpture by Barnaby Evans installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence, has been praised by Rhode Island residents and international visitors alike as a powerful work of art and a moving symbol of Providence’s renaissance. WaterFire’s one hundred sparkling bonfires, the fragrant scent of aromatic wood smoke, the flickering firelight on the arched bridges, the silhouettes of the firetenders passing by the flames, the torch-lit vessels traveling down the river, and the enchanting music from around the world engage all the senses and emotions of those who stroll the paths of Waterplace Park. WaterFire has captured the imagination of over ten million visitors, bringing life to downtown, and revitalizing Rhode Island’s capital city.”
The wasband and his girlfriend are taking me. Unfortunately for Barry he will be pushing me in the wheelchair because it involves a lot of walking for him, not me. I have always wanted to see it. I guess it is quite a sight. I will post photos when I return.
We are also going to visit my wasband’s Dad in the nursing home. He is 97 and still functioning. I’m looking forward to seeing him. He’s always been like a father to me.
To top it all off Barry is going to take us on a tour of all the houses I’ve lived in Rhode Island and there are many. There will be photos.
I tried to read as many blogs as I could yesterday. If I missed you I will be catching up soon.
